This explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we handle it and how you can control it.

Who this policy applies to

This policy covers personal information handled by Strivon Group Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”) through strivon.com.au, the newsletter, enquiry and booking forms, workshops, keynote speaking, advisory and fractional engagements. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What information is collected

  • Contact details you provide through a form: name, email address, organisation, role and any optional website or LinkedIn address.
  • The content of your enquiry, including what you would like to discuss and the outcome you are looking for.
  • Newsletter preferences, such as first name and an optional role.
  • Technical information captured with a submission (your IP address and browser user agent), used to prevent spam and abuse.

We do not ask you to send confidential, commercially sensitive or customer data through this website, and you should not do so.

Why it is collected

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a conversation.
  • To deliver the newsletter and any resource you request.
  • To deliver workshops, keynotes, advisory work, fractional engagements and audits you have asked for.
  • To protect the site from spam, abuse and automated submissions.

How it is stored

Form submissions are stored in a managed database hosted by our infrastructure providers, with access restricted to those who need it. Newsletter and enquiry records are retained only for as long as they remain relevant to the purposes above, and are deleted on request.

When it is shared

  • With service providers who host the website, database and email delivery, strictly to provide those services.
  • Where we are required to by law.

We do not sell personal information. We do not provide candidate data to sponsors or partners.

How marketing consent works

You are added to the newsletter only when you submit the sign-up form. Every email will include an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from all marketing contact. Responding to an enquiry does not subscribe you to anything. Newsletter delivery is not yet live; until it is, sign-ups are stored and nothing is sent.

Accessing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Send the request through the contact form and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Complaints

If you believe your privacy has been mishandled, contact us first through the contact form. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can raise the matter with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

This policy may be updated as the platform develops. The date at the top reflects the current version.
